# Changelog

All notable changes to this repository are documented here. Format loosely follows [Keep a Changelog](https://keepachangelog.com/).

Entries are grouped by date. Each game keeps its own rules-version folder (e.g. `warhammer40k/v11`, `killteam/v3`) — when a ruleset changes enough to need its own snapshot, a new version folder is added rather than overwriting the old one.

## [Unreleased]

## 2026-09-28

### Added
- New game: Star Wars: X-Wing (Second Edition, EN only — no French rulebook available), sourced from `xw_core_en.pdf` and cross-checked against `xw_ref_en.pdf` (the Rules Reference glossary) for the exact attack-sequence wording
- *Performing an Attack* reference sheet (6-step attack sequence)
- *Round Structure & Initiative Order* reference sheet (5 phases, with the Activation/Engagement initiative-direction asymmetry called out explicitly)
- *Maneuvers: Execution, Difficulty & Stress* reference sheet (executing a maneuver, stress, partial execution on overlap)
- *Tokens & Conditions* reference sheet (Stressed/Ionized/Disarmed/Strained, the four action tokens, token colour/shape convention)
- Combined PDF for all four posters

### Note
- No GitHub issues existed for this game when checked. Filed under the existing Atomic Mass Games publisher group (X-Wing is also an AMG product, alongside Shatterpoint, Legion, and Crisis Protocol).

## 2026-09-27

### Added
- Star Wars: Legion (core rulebook, EN): English translations of all four posters — *Full Attack Sequence*, *Command Phase & Priority*, *Suppression & Panic*, *Terrain & Cover* — sourced from `sw_legion_en.pdf`
- Combined PDF for the four EN posters

### Fixed
- The *Terrain & Cover* poster's Cover panel had a layout overflow in the initial EN render (fixed-height panel too short for the English text) — caught before filing, panel resized.

## 2026-09-26 (3)

### Added
- New game: Star Wars: Legion (core rulebook, FR), sourced from `sw_legion_fr.pdf` (rulebooks now sourced from `D:\IA\rulebooks\atomicmass\starwars-legion\`, a new location separate from the project root)
- *Séquence d'Attaque Complète* reference sheet (the official 11-step attack sequence condensed into 7 stages — the densest pipeline covered in this project to date)
- *Phase de Commandement & Priorité* reference sheet (Command Card play/resolution, priority pip-count tiebreak, Orders, Order Pool, Pass Pool)
- *Suppression & Panique* reference sheet (Rally roll, Suppressed/Panicked thresholds, borrowed courage for the Panic check, null courage)
- *Terrain & Couvert* reference sheet (3 terrain categories, 3 movement effects, Cover values, terrain height)
- Combined PDF for all four posters

### Note
- No GitHub issues existed for this game when checked (repo currently has zero issues, open or closed).

## 2026-09-26 (2)

### Added
- Marvel: Crisis Protocol (v2026, EN): English translations of all three posters — *Attack Sequence*, *Special Conditions*, *Terrain & Special Movement* — sourced from `CP143en_RevisedCoreSet_Rulebook_08_2026.pdf`
- Combined PDF for the three EN posters

### Note
- Found a genuine mechanical discrepancy (not just terminology) between the FR and EN rulebooks: the Dodge roll's collision damage is "size of the thrown element/character + 1" in the French rulebook, but a flat "3 damage" in the English one — confirmed consistent within each language across both the prose explanation and the numbered rules list. Each poster follows its own language's official text; flagged here rather than silently picking one.

## 2026-09-26

### Added
- New game: Marvel: Crisis Protocol (Revised Core Set / v2026, FR), sourced from `AMGMCP143FR_REGLESp.pdf`
- *Séquence d'Attaque* reference sheet (the official 14-step attack procedure condensed into 6 stages, incl. a callout for the rulebook's own "commonly mistaken rule" about Critical bonus dice)
- *États Spéciaux* reference sheet (all 10 special conditions)
- *Terrain & Déplacements Spéciaux* reference sheet (Throw/Push/Place/Climb, Cover, and the Dodge roll procedure)
- Combined PDF for all three posters

### Note
- No GitHub issues existed yet for this game when checked (per the workflow's updated §2 guidance on checking community signal first). The rulebook's own "Commonly Mistaken Rules" callout was used instead as a first-party signal for what to emphasize on the Attack Sequence poster.

## 2026-09-25

### Added
- A Song of Ice and Fire: TMG v2021 (FR & EN): *Terrain : Mots-Clés & Exemples / Terrain: Keywords & Examples* — glossary of all 11 Terrain keywords plus a lookup table of example Terrain pieces, sourced separately from each language's own rulebook (`ASOIAF-Regles-FR-v2021.pdf` / `Rulebook_2021.pdf`)
- Combined PDFs updated to include the new poster (4 pages each)

### Note
- The FR and EN rulebooks disagree on the keywords for two Terrain examples: **Forest** (FR: Cover, Rough — EN: Cover, Fortified) and **Hedge** (FR: Cover, Rough, Hindering — EN: Cover, Destructible, Rough). Each poster faithfully follows its own language's official text rather than reconciling the two; worth flagging to players who compare notes across languages.

## 2026-09-24 (4)

### Added
- Warhammer Age of Sigmar (v2026, EN): English translations of all three posters — *Attack & Damage Sequence*, *Which Unit Fights Next?*, *Abilities: Timing & the Rules of One* — sourced from `ang_aos.pdf`, terminology cross-checked against the official English text (e.g. Strike-first/Strike-last hyphenation, Ward Save, Rend, Health, coherent group)
- Combined PDF for the three EN posters

### Fixed
- Warhammer Age of Sigmar (v2026, FR): the *Règles de Un* panel on *Aptitudes : Chronologie & Règle de Un* was rebuilt from the actual rulebook text — it previously used an invented "usage side / effect side" structure instead of the book's own three rules (1 Core ability per phase max, same ability once per phase, same passive ability once at a time); renamed the poster's panel/header to the correct plural *Règles de Un* to match

## 2026-09-24 (3)

### Added
- New game: Warhammer Age of Sigmar (règles de base / v2026, FR), sourced from `fra_aos.pdf` and cross-checked against the September 2026 rules-update/errata document for the covered content
- Combined PDF for all three posters

## 2026-09-24 (2)

### Added
- Star Wars: Shatterpoint (v2023, EN): English translations of all four posters — *Making an Attack*, *The Dice & the Combat Tree*, *Conditions*, *Wounded, Injured & Defeated* — sourced from `SWP01_CoreRules_01.09.26.pdf` (a more recent printing than the French `vf-shatterpoint-corerules-06-02-23.pdf`)
- Cross-checked the two rulebooks for the content these posters cover: terminology differs in several places (e.g. Maîtrise → Expertise, Touche → Strike, Vigueur → Stamina, Résistance → Durability, États → Conditions, Entravé → Pinned) but no mechanical differences were found, so the FR posters did not need any changes
- Combined PDF for the four EN posters

## 2026-09-24

### Added
- New game: Star Wars: Shatterpoint (règles de base / v2023, FR)
- *Résoudre une attaque* reference sheet (full attack sequence, condensed from the rulebook's 10 official steps into 6 stages)
- *Les Dés & l'Arbre de Combat* companion sheet (die faces, combat tree traversal, directed/personal effects)
- *États* reference sheet (Contraint, Désarmé, Exposé, Entravé — four independent conditions)
- *Blessé, Estropié & Vaincu* reference sheet (damage progression, with its cyclical nature noted)
- Combined PDF for all four posters

## 2026-09-23 (2)

### Added
- Kill Team v3 (FR): French translations of *Actions & PA* and *Manœuvres & Contre-attaque : Chronologie*, terminology sourced from `kt_lite_rules_fr.pdf` and confirmed by the user for three terms not covered there (Action Universelle, Ramasser/Placer un marqueur, étape Manœuvres)

## 2026-09-23

## 2026-09-22 (4)
